The Maurice Amon Foundation invests in the Musée d’Art Moderne of Paris

On June 7th, 2017 at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (MAM-VP), Maurice A. Amon has made official his commitment towards this prestigious museum in presence of Fabrice Hergott, its Director and Christian Langlois Meurinne, President des Amis du Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.

Already a member of its international committee for several years, Maurice A. Amon has decided to invest in the museum on a long-term basis, in the name of his Foundation, by sponsoring the Room number 1, the most important room of the museum.

This grandiose room will now be called after the name and first name of his father, Albert Amon, who transmitted to him his passion for Art. But beyond this tribute, the Maurice Amon Foundation will support, for the next ten years, the restauration of the Salle Albert Amon. It will also contritee to the visitor reception and to help with the news Art work for the Musée d’Art Moderne Ville de Paris to keep its international reputation.

As a recognized patron, Maurice A. Amon has celebrated this partnership by hosting a gala dinner, organized by the chef Alain Passard.

This evening lead unvelved to the “naming” of Salle Albert Amon, designed by the architect Peter Marino.
